Stafford Squash Junior Timed Graded Tournament

Stafford Squash Centre is holding a Junior Timed Graded Tournament a week Sunday (1st of November 2015) from 8.55am to approximately 4pm.

Event Details

This tournament is for players of all standards as divisions are based purely on ABILITY and NOT GENDER or AGE.

This is achieved by using player matrix rating.

All entrants will be ranking using their rating & then a line will be drawn under every 6th player. ie. 6 players per division.

Thus your opponents are around your matrix rating.

All junior tournament results are now entered into the matrix.

Players who have never played a “Timed” event will pay an introductory entry fee of $10.00.

All others player entry fees will be as follows Child $20.00, 2 Siblings $35.00, 3 Siblings $50.00, 4 Siblings $60.00

Players are guaranteed a MINIMUM of 5 matches. ie. 1 match consists of 2 minutes warm up, followed by 8 minutes of continuous play, then 2 minutes rest, then play resumes for a further 8 continuous minutes.

Scoring will be Point A Rally (PAR) with the winner being the player with the most amount of points.

Play stops immediately on the whistle, even if a draw.

Winner of a Division is the player with the highest match wins, if match wins are drawn then count back on points, if tied on wins and points then the Division winner is the victor of their match up.

ALL entrants must be at Stafford Squash Centre on Sunday the 1st of November by 8.55am for a 9am briefing as play commences at 9.20am SHARP.

ALL Players must mark and/or referee the match immediately following theirs. Parents are NOT allowed to mark/referee only to provide assistance if required.

Protective eyewear must be worn by players at ALL times whilst on the court.
